Your Convention Committee has arranged for activities,
tours, special events and of course, great food and drink, for each of
the five days. Besides the classic autos of the Volo Museum, we’ll also
be touring the Cuneo Mansion and the Chicago Botanical Gardens. We have
a fantastic tour of Downtown Chicago planned for Saturday, with a
Chicago River boat tour and lunch at Navy Pier the planned highlights.
We’re also offering a dinner/theater package, featuring
the Lincolnshire Marriott Theater’s production of the Tony-Award winning
musical, A Chorus Line, on Thursday evening. And then, on Friday, the
“singular sensation” of the automotive world – the Thunderbird – will
take center stage during the VTCI’s concours judging, with the Awards
Banquet scheduled for Saturday evening. And if you can find the time –
and risk the embarrassment of uncontrollable slicing and hooks, we even
have a golf scramble on Thursday afternoon!
